Would you support the creation of a sanctuary camp for homeless people in Santa Cruz?

lt ariI think a camp would be a really good place for homeless people to have a safer place to be. I think it’s a good idea.

lt bobI’m not in favor of a sanctuary camp in Santa Cruz. I just think it will bring more homeless here. I think we have to become a little less tolerant because we’ve been getting some undesirables. It’s not just homeless, but people coming here in general thinking it’s a very tolerant way of life and you could get away with anything.

lt nickNo. We’re already a sanctuary for the homeless, and it’s a problem.

lt stephanieI would support a shelter that helps people get the services they need and get them back on their feet, back into a productive life. I would support the shelter if it didn’t create or enable more of the same.

lt seanI would like to see a place where the homeless can feel useful and follow certain rules, and be allowed to live off the grid.
