UC Santa Cruz’s graduate programs have earned the university a slot on a list of the top 10 graduate schools for video game design. A survey compiled by The Princeton Review and GamePro Media ranks UCSC seventh in the nation. UCSC offers a Ph.D. and M.S. in computer science and a M.F.A. in Digital Arts and New Media. Students in these programs can study game-specific topics including computer animation and artificial intelligence as part of The Center for Games and Playable Media. UCSC is one of only two schools in California to make the list.
