What are the top three locally owned places to buy gifts? Why?

lt susanBookshop Santa Cruz, because you can never go wrong with a good book. Artisan’s because it has fabulous local crafts, paintings, jewelry, glass, wearables and other great things. Gabriella’s Restaurant gift certificates—good for the whole family any time.

lt caitlinThe Women’s Organic Flower Enterprise is part of The Homeless Garden Project and it’s next to Depot Hill, because they have locally crafted items which supports the homeless population. The Roadhouse in Davenport has locally created jewelry by local artists. And the L’ Attelier, which has natural, organic body products and gift certificates for hair cuts by my husband.

Sock Shop Santa Cruz would be one of them because they have just a little bit of everything and really high quality. Number two is Marini’s Candies because it’s great and I go there all the time. Three would be Pacific Trading Company. They have a great selection, a little bit of everything, for everyday and evening wear.

lt jessamyneBookshop Santa Cruz because they have a great selection and great people who work there, Streetlight Records for the same reason and they have a lot of great music and I’ve always liked the customer service, and I like that they have records as well, and then same with Logos Books actually. Logos is perfect because they have books recxords and the CDs.
