What do you do for a living?
My company designs and builds the world's best high performance electric motorcycles.
What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
I'd be working a lot less, that's for sure. I used to have a product development business where I created fun products ranging from mountain bikes to rock climbing gear.
What do you do in your free time?
My wife and I play beach volleyball every chance we get. It's why we live here!
What brought you to Santa Cruz?
My parents lived here in the '60s and I moved back about 15 years ago to work for Santa Cruz Mountain Bikes.
What's your favorite street?
Seabright Avenue. It's got coffee, rock climbing, Thai food and ends at the beach.
Name something you're excited about.
LED light bulbs. They are sooooo power efficient.
Name a pet peeve.
Wasted anything.
What are you reading?
News mostly. I rarely read fiction.
What's the most important thing you've learned in the last three years?
How to run a business.
Recent personal food trend?
I gave up drinking alcohol and I feel great! Ceviche tostadas at El Palomar by the Harbor.
