What do you do for a living?
Executive director of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music
What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
In the unlikely event that I wasn't working in the arts, I'd probably be working for another cause like civil liberties or women's reproductive rights.
What do you do in your free time?
Go to museums and performances, cook, garden, entertain, travel and collect art books.
What brought you to Santa Cruz?
My sister and brother lived here and we moved here to be with family.
What's your favorite street?
Rue Saint-Louis en l'île, Paris
Name something you're excited about.
Green beans, my husband and going to Manhattan in the fall.

People being disrespectful to one another. Drives me crazy.

Just finishing Chip Conley's Peak: How Great Companies Get their Mojo From Maslow
What's the most important thing you've learned in the last three years?
I've learned about loss and grief. It alters your perspective on life and the world and your understanding of human beings.
