Twist and Snout: Every good surfer gets a stretch in before hitting the waves. Here, Nina and Schreiber loosen up their back muscles while Diva supervises.

Dog is My Co-Pilot: Nina takes her place in the stern of Schreiber's 1990 Honda 250 hand-rigged scooter. Besides offering "recession pricing" on surfing photos taken with his point-and-shoot camera, Schreiber earns the "Mechanic" nickname by operating a mobile auto repair service on the side.
