Brewer, business owner.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing that?
Landscaping (cleaning pools if I had to).

What's free time? If I had some, I'd take my dog for a hike.

What brought you to Santa Cruz?
My wife, that wretched woman! Just kidding. I love Santa Cruz!

What's your favorite street?
Mission--not! Ingalls is turning into a pretty nice street, though.

Name something you're excited about
Barrel-aging strong beers. We've got some award-winning barleywine aging in chardonnay barrels. It is going to be tasty.

Sand in my bed.

What are you reading?
Captain Underpants. Does reading to my kids count?

What's the most important thing you've learned in the last three years?
Stress management. Managing employees. Looking farther into the future.

Recent personal food trend?
Coulotte steaks from PLBar Ranch. After the movie Food, Inc., I won't eat meat if I don't know the farmer.
