marcus ltI would pick Tom Davis. He is the owner of the climbing gym, Pacific Edge, and I find his climbing accomplishments and his sense of community to be very inspiring to me.

Amelia Conlin, director of People Power. I think she has done a lot of great things for the organization, and the town, and the county in general as far a sustainable transportation. And I’m really glad she’s here making a difference.

woody ltThe Great Morgani to me represents what’s the best about Santa Cruz. You know, he’s crazy, zany, but he’s actually good too, he’s a very talented musician. He adds so much to the downtown atmosphere, and I think we really need to reassess the rules and laws downtown to create and foster the kind of things that The Great Morgani brings downtown.

david ltMy friend Russ Leal, who is a Santa Cruz local. He taught special ed at Los Gatos High and commuted over the hill for 30 years, and he is was a great inspiration to me and mentor, taught me how to surf and play music, and he’s still around.

sylvia lt Arron Shaw, a mechanic at the Cabrillo Bike coop.
