p211002_heroTired of your flaky, ruddy skin? Need a freshen up for your face? I sure did. So I took the plunge and invested in a fancy and expensive ($195) Clarisonic Skincare Brush (in pink). Yes, the price point was extravagant. The claims: “Removes makeup six times better than traditional methods; clears pores and reduces the appearance of pores; creates noticeably healthier looking skin; cleanses so thoroughly that skincare products absorb better.” Were the claims true? Could such a pricey gadget really be worth it?

I’ve been using the product for more than a year now (replacing the brush head every three months as suggested), and I can tell a noticeable difference in my skin. It looks and feels like it can breathe. No irritation has occurred, and there’s a marked difference in my skin on the days when I use the Clarisonic Skincare Brush, and on the days when I don’t. Directions: Moisten the brush head. Lather up your face with your wash. Turn on the Skincare Brush and spend a minute or two sliding it around your face. Turn it off and rinse the brush head. Apply your products to a newly smooth surface on your face. And watch as wrinkles take a back seat, acne doesn’t pop up, and your skin looks brighter than ever.
