The trash and debris that’s left behind by the homeless in all the parks and parking lots, like here at Steamers Lane. It just gets overwhelming and it gets to be an eyesore. When you have friends in town it’s kind of embarrassing to drive around and show them a dirty parking lot or dirty park, and trash strewn along Steamers Lane.

I think it’s just the epidemic of bike theft. It’s ridiculous! I’ve had my third bike stolen in Santa Cruz just this year, and I know many other ones. It’s a small thing, it’s a bicycle, even though sometimes they’re expensive, but, for all people in Santa Cruz that are trying to do the right thing environmentally, and a bicycle is part of that, it upsets me that nothing is done about it. I know the technology is there to sting the rip-off. Put a radio tag on it and have the cops sit around the corner, and if they did that for a month or two, and the word got out, it would be less of a problem.

For me, the biggest issue is the chemtrails, the spraying, the geo-engineering. It’s a problem, especially in the wintertime. You look up in the sky and see them going back and forth spraying us every day. It’s a local, it’s a national, it’s a worldwide issue, and they’re not giving us any information on it, and they’re not denying it’s happening. It’s something that’s just absolutely trashing us all, trashing the earth, and to me that’s number one on my priority.

The needles on the beach and the fact that we’re a tourist town and having all of these homeless and drug encampments and cleanups that residents are doing, which are not being followed up by the city council.

I would say the Highway One expansion near Morrissey Boulevard. The time it took for them to build it ,and, from what I’ve read, the expense taken for such a small amount of highway.
