I’m happy that California stood firm and supported some progressive people, but I’m dismayed about the Republicans taking over the House and getting strength in the Senate.

I would be very happy if the Republicans believe that they can enhance the economy, but I don’t have a whole lot of hope for them.

I’m glad that it didn’t go the way the Tea Party was hoping it would and that the Democrats still have a strong presence in the Senate. I’m glad proposition 23 didn’t pass. I was concerned about Texas oil companies continuing to buy California’s environment, the ability to pollute. I’m bummed that prop. 26 passed, I think it got past a lot of people because it was really confusing.

I’m bummed that Prop. 19 didn’t pass, not for me, but just in general. I don’t think anybody I voted for got elected, but I feel good about the way I voted anyway. It’s the Democratic process, so, even if it doesn’t go your way that’s what you got to live with.
