Semi-automatics should be outlawed—period. I’m kind of on the fence on the rest of the gun laws. I wish that we lived in a place that we didn’t have to have gun control, but unfortunately they are available to too many crazy people. So, definitely ban semi-automatics for personal use.

I don’t believe the U.S. is ready for new gun laws. Considering what happened in Colorado last week, although it was a tragedy, I don’t feel like it was because of our current state and our current laws that we have in place right now. The damage could have been done with hand guns. The only way to stop it would be to abolish the amendment that allows us to have arms. Patrick Holmes

Yes, it’s definitely time for new gun laws. The recent events in Colorado show that we need more restrictions on automatic weapons, and I think it’s just absurd that they’re so easy to obtain in our country.

I think that gun laws are fine as they are. It’s the individuals that purchase the guns. I think that maybe instead of gun laws, it should be mental stability laws. Maybe they should have a background check, which I don’t know if they do or not, to find out what kind of individual they’re selling to. That’s my opinion.
