Chardonnay 2010

Founded in 1974 and located in Geyserville, Clos du Bois is a well-established winery producing large quantities of wine annually. With its very recognizable label and reasonable prices, Clos du Bois can be found easily in most stores that carry wine.

The Chardonnay 2010, California North Coast sells for about $15—making it a very popular wine that pairs well with food and with a good price-point going for it as well. With its straw-like hue and an intense nose of apples, pears and lemons, complemented by toasty oak, spice and cream, it is actually a lovely wine that lingers on the palate. If you’re cooking up some Indian food, or a spicy Asian dish, then this wine would go with the food nicely.

Hotel Los Gatos Wine Tasting Fridays
The Hotel Los Gatos continues with its wine tasting Fridays, but has now introduced Sip ’n’ Stay packages for a limited time starting at $219. This includes a one-night stay, wine tasting and breakfast for two. Wines featured in the wine tasting are mostly local—and paired with cheeses from Whole Foods. Center Street Grill—Pouring on the Patio
Center Street Grill has started up its series of Pouring on the Patio every Thursday that so many enjoyed last year. Mama Mia—Corralitos Style, Saturday, May 12
Three wineries in Corralitos (Nicholson Vineyards, Pleasant Valley Vineyards, Windy Oaks Estate Vineyards & Winery) are putting on a wonderful fun event from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Visit all three wineries, meet the winemakers, taste wines, enjoy local sausages, cheeses, berries, vegetables, mushrooms and artisan breads; listen to live music; see art and jewelry vendors; and take home a commemorative glass. Tickets are $55 per person in advance or $60 at the door (if not sold out). Tickets will be mailed if you place your order early (more than 10 days in advance).
