Santa Cruz invited to support Chris Rene at The Catalyst’s ‘X Factor’ Viewing Party
Who needs tickets to the live taping of “The X Factor” finale episodes this week, when you can be a part of the magic right here in Santa Cruz? On Wednesday, Dec. 21, the community is invited to cheer on local singer/songwriter and show contestant Chris Rene at a special viewing party at The Catalyst.
While Rene will not be present at the event, which kicks off at 5 p.m.—free tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the venue, beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday—attendees will get to watch the episode on a big screen. The best part? “The X Factor” film crew will be onsite to record the crowd, for a live segment of the episode that highlights Rene’s hometown supporters.
During Wednesday’s show, the top three finalists—Rene, Melanie Amaro, and Josh Krajcik—will battle it out, then the winner will be crowned during Thursday’s episode.
Make sure to get to The Catalyst early to score tickets, then come armed with posters, T-shirts, cowbells (?), and a whole lot of hometown pride. Let’s show the world what Santa Cruz is made of!
