.From Dusk Till Dawn

blog_xrayWell, here we go again. Out of the ashes of the recently wrapped Blackest Night comes the next phase in the evolution of the DC universe: Brightest Day. And like that blockbuster 8 issue series, this new one promises even more shocking revelations and landmark events as Geoff Johns continues to take the company places it’s never been before.

Not a lot is known so far about exactly what’s in store for our heroes (all of the contributing creators were pretty tight lipped at the Con in S.F. sporting “wait and see” smirks), but if the work that DC has put into modernizing their characters for the new century thus far is any indication, whatever surprises are in store certainly won’t disappoint.

This week also sees The Flash kick off his own self titled monthly after being revived in Final Crisis and appearing in his mini “Rebirth” series. You can read all about this and the rest of the week’s releases right here.
