.Oprah? President?

loco_aubrey
No. I don’t want any more celebrity presidents. I want a president with the political knowledge and background to help us get out of this mess.

If Oprah wants to run for president, then she should. But I believe she is smart enough to know that being president isn’t the best way to help change the direction and consciousness of our nation. In her current position, Oprah can do more good than she would if she got entangled in the tendrils of shady dealings and collective bad karma that is known as the U.S. Federal Government.

No, Oprah should not run for president because she is one of the best communicators and one of the most generous people this country has and I think anybody that gets involved with politics is out for power. I think there is more involved in it than just the good will she tends to show. She does a better job with what she’s doing.

Oprah should not run for president. The political arena would restrict her ability to influence the social network in our culture.  Her business involvement in a variety of media and her economic power allows her to lobby for the people. Politics would redirect her energy away from many of her great causes and stifle her candid rhetoric.
