A collection of outstanding guitarists from across the African continent, African Guitar Summit is a joyful, danceable celebration of contemporary African music. Comprising Alpha YaYa Diallo from Guinea, Donne Roberts (above) and Madagascar Slim from Madagascar, Kofi Ackah from Ghana on drums, and Guinea’s Naby Camara on marimba and bass, the outfit is a guitar-centric exercise in stylistic diversity, collaboration, and mutual respect.Â
