The Second Annual Week of the Child Children's Parade and Free Family Fun Fair drew a huge crowd of families last Saturday, April 14, at San Lorenzo Park. The event boasted activities, such as a multitude of games, crafts, and live music, plus healthy snacks.
The Elite Martial Arts Academy booth was a real hit at the fair. The booth offered a free martial arts class to any child who could break a board. Several young Santa Cruz boys took the Academy up on its offer, splitting the board in two.
