.Santa Cruz Roots for Giants Fan

Support has been pouring in for Bryan Stow, the Santa Cruz resident and Giants fan who was violently attacked by two Dodgers fans at the March 31 season opener at Dodger Stadium. As of press time, Stow, a paramedic and father of two, is in a medically induced coma at at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center due to suffering many kicks to the head. Multiple fundraising and donation efforts have been made by local Santa Cruz businesses, as well as by Dodgers Stadium (which raised $60,000 for Stow on Monday, April 11), the Giants Ball Club (which raised $10,000) and more. A total of $200,000 has been raised for Stow so far, according to the L.A. Times. Donations made to the Bryan Stow Fund will help assist with medical bills and his family’s expenses while they stay with him in Los Angeles.
