.Warriors win two, lose one to improve to 9-4 overall

Curry Salvation Army1Last Tuesday, the Sea Dubs eked out an overtime win against the Los Angeles D-Fenders by a score of 115-114.  Santa Cruz held a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter before L.A. climbed all the way back to tie the game.  Seth Curry scored a game high 27 points and Dewayne Dedmon logged a huge double-double with 15 points and a Santa Cruz record 21 rebounds.   

The Warriors wore custom red jerseys with a Salvation Army emblem for “Salvation Army Night.”  The game-worn jerseys were auctioned off and signed by the players after the game, with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army. 

The Warriors then traveled to Bakersfield, where they fell to the Jam 123-108.  The Warriors were led by Nemanja Nedovic, who led the team with 29 points while on assignment from Golden State.  The Jam shot 59% from the floor as opposed to 45.7% for Santa Cruz.  They were led by Atlanta Hawks assignment player Jared Cunningham, who scored a game-high 30 points. 

The Warriors defeated the division-leading Idaho Stampede 95-91 on Sunday night in front of a sold-out crowd at Kaiser Permanente Arena.  Cameron Jones and Kiwi Gardner each scored 18 points while Dewayne Dedmon recorded his eighth consecutive double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds to go along with six blocks. 

The Santa Cruz Warriors are headed to Bakersfield to play the Jam again on Saturday, December 28.  They will be back in town Friday, January 3, to take on the Reno Bighorns at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are available at     http://www.nba.com/dleague/santacruz/map__pricing.html
