I think a camp would be a really good place for homeless people to have a safer place to be. I think it’s a good idea.

I’m not in favor of a sanctuary camp in Santa Cruz. I just think it will bring more homeless here. I think we have to become a little less tolerant because we’ve been getting some undesirables. It’s not just homeless, but people coming here in general thinking it’s a very tolerant way of life and you could get away with anything.
